Hi, I’m Janet 👋

I have 15 years of experience in the health, fitness and wellness industry. I have worked with every age group and fitness level in many different settings. My experience led me to set up my fitness business 10 years ago, with the aim of creating inclusive, supportive and adaptable classes where all fitness levels could feel comfortable taking up regular exercise and working towards their fitness goals. My classes are fun and have a community atmosphere where everyone can start, restart or continue their fitness journey.

As a personal trainer, my core philosophy is finding ways to support individuals achieve holistic health, fitness and well-being. My main focus is helping women navigate the various stages and changes that happen throughout their lifetime and using exercise to help support them through these. The most important thing for me is listening to my clients’ unique needs. From there, I help them gain the knowledge and skills to understand what is happening within their body and how this may impact their ability to reach their health and fitness goals. Additionally, together we look at how cardiovascular fitness and strength training can help them overcome many of these challenges.

My goal is to help my clients understand factors that lead to positive health and well-being changes and together we develop a plan that works for them. I then create and prescribe a programme that meets their expectations and goals while also developing holistic health and promoting long-term lifestyle changes. The knowledge gained through this kind of personalised programming can empower women to create routines that help them reach their goals while listening to their body’s unique needs and work within the demands of other life commitments.

I am passionate about health and wellbeing, it is both my hobby and my profession. I love to get out on the mountains for a hike and play social soccer with the girls. You will also often see me at the park run on Saturday morning.
